Licensed Personal Lines Sales Agent

Job Description:
An innovative Insurtech startup is looking for enthusiastic Personal Lines Sales Agents for a remote position. In this role, you will help customers find, compare and purchase personal lines insurance. This sales-focused position involves handling inbound leads via phone, email and text, with a performance goal of binding at least 60 new policies per month.
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound leads from customers through various communication channels (phone, email, text).
- Navigate multiple insurer products and agent portals to determine the best insurance options for customers.
- Manage leads from initial contact through to policy binding using agency tools and technology.
- Achieve a minimum of 60 new policies per month with an uncapped earning potential.
- Benefit from a compensation structure that includes base salary, commission and bonuses.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in personal lines sales (excluding account management or CSR roles).
- Experience with multi-carrier environments, either in a broker setting or with captive insurers like Geico, Liberty Mutual, Nationwide, etc.
- Experience in an Insurtech environment is a plus.
- Proven track record of selling 40+ policies per month.
- Experience with non-standard customer interactions (preferred).
- Active producer license in at least 10 states (please specify states where licensed).
- Personal Lines including Home, Auto, Boat, Renters, Pet and Umbrella insurance.
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $40,000 to $50,000 annually, plus commission.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
