Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Medical Economics Analyst for a 3-month remote contract assignment. This role will focus on developing reporting, dashboards, and analytics that provide insight into product line performance, cost drivers, and utilization trends within a payer environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create reporting and processes that provide deeper insight into product line performance drivers.

  • Develop dashboards and reports explaining product line cost and utilization drivers.

  • Perform drill-down analysis to identify root causes behind performance trends.

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights by “telling the story” behind product line performance.

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis related to utilization trends, provider reimbursement methodologies, payment patterns, and population-based analytics.

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of experience in medical economics and/or healthcare analytics with payer experience required.

  • Experience working in Enterprise Data Warehouses with healthcare claims and eligibility data.

  • Demonstrated experience developing cost and utilization dashboards and reporting focused on product line performance drivers.

  • Strong experience conducting detailed analysis on trend drivers.

  • Knowledge of various provider reimbursement methodologies and their impact on claims payments.

  • SQL and Milliman MedInsight required.

  • Power BI development using payer claims data strongly preferred.


Pay Range:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $65–$75 per hour
