Job Description:
A reputable organization is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to support validation of outputs generated by an AI-driven platform that translates complex regulatory requirements into actionable compliance plans for clients. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, completeness and reliability of AI-generated interpretations. The selected candidate will compare source regulatory documents with AI-produced action plans, identify inaccuracies, omissions or “hallucinated” content and provide clear, actionable corrections. This position offers flexibility for remote work and requires a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to uphold regulatory standards within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze raw regulatory documents such as laws, regulations and filings, then compare them against AI-generated compliance action plans.

• Identify inaccurate, incomplete, or fabricated outputs and recommend precise corrections to ensure reliable information.

• Validate that regulatory requirements are properly interpreted and translated into actionable steps for clients.

• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve system outputs and overall model performance.

• Apply knowledge across multiple functional areas, including underwriting, claims and rate/rule filings, to ensure comprehensive validation.

• Maintain adherence to insurance regulatory standards and practical business applications throughout the validation process.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in a commercial insurance regulatory or compliance environment

• Broad functional knowledge across underwriting, claims and rate filing or compliance

• Experience interpreting and operationalizing laws, regulations and policy language

• Familiarity with AI, predictive modeling or algorithmic regulation is highly desirable

• Knowledge of AI regulations in the P&C insurance space is highly preferred

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot inconsistencies and edge cases

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet project deadlines

Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 per hour. We understand salary is an important factor in a job search, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
