Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Life Actuarial Analyst to join our team and contribute to the pricing and product development of life and annuity products. The ideal candidate will have experience in modeling, pricing strategies and policy form development to support the growth and competitiveness of our offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Build actuarial assumptions and models using tools such as actuarial modeling software, data visualization applications, programming languages and Microsoft Office.
  • Communicate results to management verbally, in writing, or through presentations while ensuring proper documentation according to actuarial standards of practice.
  • Work toward Associateship (ASA) designation from the Society of Actuaries.
  • Maintain proficiency in actuarial pricing models and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Stay informed on laws, regulations and guidelines to ensure product compliance, including contracts and annual testing such as illustration regulations.
  • Assist in the development, pricing, and modeling of life and annuity products.
  • Conduct actuarial analysis to support product development and profitability.
  • Work closely with underwriting, finance and risk management teams to ensure product alignment.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing and valuation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and actuarial standards.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with life and/or annuity products
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Life pricing experience (preferred)
  • Progress toward ASA (5-6 exams/online courses)Most incumbents will have completed 3-5 exams/online courses
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training

Pay Range:
 

The anticipated pay range for this position is $90,000 - $122,000 annually.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
