Care Management Consultants
Job Description:
Care Management Consultants are needed for work-from-home and onsite assignments. The consultants may be responsible for ensuring medical decisions are rendered by qualified medical personnel, settling medically related and potential quality related issues, as well as resolving issues with authorizations, modifications and denials. These professionals are expected to demonstrate sound clinical and insurance business knowledge in their decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a managed care environment
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Current MD or RN license (preferred)
