Job Description:

Our client is an established, not-for-profit organization with more than 50 years of business formed for providing group purchasing of insurance programs and providing risk management education to participating member institutions. They are seeking a Director of Human Resources to manage the human resources function involving recruitment, employee records maintenance and administration, job classifications, employee orientation, and hire and leave programs. Responsibilities:

  • Review current employee benefits and make recommendations to develop a benefit program that will be attractive to new employees.
  • Oversee the diversity and inclusion program, policies and plan initiatives, training, and related activities.
  • Develop, manage and maintain responsibility for learning and development programs and activities for staff.
  • Manage and coordinate employee relations management practices and strategy.
  • Develop alternatives to aid departments with seasonal needs for additional staff.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of human resources experience
  • Experience with diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, including developing; documenting; launching and managing DEI programs
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • PHR or SHRM certification (preferred)
