Job Description:
A multiline insurance company offering auto, home, business and life insurance through a network of independent agents, is looking to add a Liability Claims Specialist to their team in Wisconsin. This position requires the specialist to provide support for property claims during periods of heavy volume.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations, as well as evaluate and make recommendations regarding coverage and liability.
  • Handle claims involving complex liability, damages or coverages. 
  • Negotiate with all parties or their representatives within designated authority.
  • Document files and submit reports. 
  • Identify subrogation opportunities and initiate appropriate action.
  • Complete required training.
  • Train and mentor.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • 5+ years of casualty claims adjusting experience or equivalent experience, specifically in the medical or legal fields
  • Broad knowledge and expertise in the areas of liability coverages, laws and injuries
  • Completion of Associate in Claims program (preferred)
  • Travel for training, as needed
  • Valid driver's license
