MGA Accountant

Job Description:

A property and casualty company is looking for an MGA Accountant. This professional will handle MGA reporting and reconciliation, reconcile MGA policy reporting with accounting entries and carrier reports, help develop procedures going forward, and document results and processes. This opportunity is anticipated to be two months in duration and is work-from-home.
 

Requirements:

  • Experience with handling reporting and reconciliations for an MGA
  • Statutory reporting experience
  • Bordereaux understanding
  • Reinsurance application knowledge
  • Understanding of how to interpret carrier and reinsurance treaty requirements
  • Comfortable with developing and documenting new process
