Pricing Actuary (RILA)

Job Description:
This actuarial role focused on RILA pricing and profitability within the Retirement Actuarial group. It is a highly visible and collaborative position that creates value for policyholders and the company's annuity products. The role will engage various company stakeholders to develop innovative RILA product offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a section or function within a product line, such as product development, financial reporting, management reporting, experience studies, risk management reporting and actuarial research.
- Oversee actuarial reports, projects and analysis.
- Improve processes and create efficiencies in reporting, documentation and transparency.
- Supervise small actuarial teams, including analysts and actuarial students.
- Commitment to self-development and advanced industry knowledge.
- Assist with division and actuarial team strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong quantitative background
- 5 to 7 years of insurance related actuarial experience
- 7 to 8 actuarial exams. ASA designation required
- RILA product experience
- Experience with actuarial modeling software is a plus (MG-ALFA preferred)
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively, including managing projects

Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $125,000 - $208,400 annually.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
