Renewable Energy Account Executive

Job Description:
An energy insurance provider is looking for a new Renewable Energy Account Executive. This opportunity is work-from-home with some required travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the profitable management of a casualty book of business, including the underwriting of new and renewal accounts consistent with business unit appetite and underwriting guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with brokers and agents.
  • Ensure managing agency profitability.
  • Responsible for marketing their assigned territories, including strategic growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with risk services, claims, actuarial, finance and accounting, and information technology departments across the organization.
  • Travel to maintain strong relationships with agents and customers, as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of casualty underwriting experience; specifically in the renewable energy space (preferred)
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Understanding of policy language and coverage interpretation, contractual risk transfer analysis, loss analysis, and underwriting compliance
  • Ability to travel as needed
