Job Description:
A leading organization specializing in commercial insurance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Lines Actuary for a long-term remote opportunity. This position involves analyzing and translating policy rating inputs, supporting the implementation of Guidewire Ppolicy administration system structures, and collaborating across teams to facilitate seamless system integrations. The role offers the chance to work within a dynamic environment where innovation and data-driven decision-making are highly valued. Responsibilities:

• Review existing Policy Administration System (PAS) rating input storage tables and structures.

• Extract all current PAS rating inputs for workers' compensation, commercial package, and commercial auto for each policy and coverage.

• Collaborate with team members to translate extracted rating inputs into Guidewire PAS input structures.

• Assist in building and maintaining a production process for policy conversion.

• Accommodate state and product differences during implementation and rollout.

• Update processes to integrate new Guidewire data structures effectively.

• Develop and test requirements for PAS features such as rate capping.

• Support predictive model data integrations for enhanced analytics.

• Conduct conversion rate dislocation analyses to identify potential issues.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial lines actuarial experience with 4-6 CAS exams passed (preferred)

• Strong SAS or SQL skills

• Experience working with and manipulating large data sets

• Knowledge of ISO commercial property, GL and auto rating algorithms

• Familiarity with NCCI workers' compensation products and rating algorithms

• Proficiency with Excel

• Ability to learn new software, programs and templates rapidly

• Experience with Guidewire policy administration system data structures (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with non-technical audiences

Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00 per hour. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
