Senior Manager, Insurance

Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Insurance is responsible for the financial performance, growth and long-term sustainability of a large insurance portfolio. This leadership role oversees product strategy, P&L management, marketing, financial planning, risk management, compliance, and vendor relationships while ensuring programs remain competitive, compliant and aligned with member needs.
Responsibilities:

Lead the overall profitability and growth of insurance products, including product strategy, pricing, reserves and risk management.

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and performance analysis.

Oversee insurance product development, enhancements, regulatory compliance and vendor performance.

Drive strategic marketing initiatives to increase premium and revenue growth while optimizing marketing investments.

Manage relationships with carriers, brokers, administrators and other external partners.

Provide fiduciary oversight to ensure program sustainability, governance, compliance and participant interests are protected.

Advise on insurance placement, coverage strategies and risk management as a licensed insurance professional.

Lead and develop a high-performing team while overseeing key business initiatives and projects.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align strategy, communicate results, and achieve business objectives.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree; MBA (preferred)

7+ years of experience managing and growing insurance product lines

3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and external partners

Strong background in P&L management, financial analysis, insurance operations, product management and marketing strategy

Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills

Ability to obtain life and property & casualty insurance licenses within 18 months of hire
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000 annually. We understand salary is an important factor in a job search, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
