Job Description:
A medical professional liability insurance company that supports medical groups dedicated to building healthier communities is looking for a Senior Underwriting Specialist to join their growing team. This role requires the ability to research, understand, interpret and articulate applicable policies and rules of various states and programs. The Senior Underwriting Specialist will work with a team of supportive colleagues and will help build this role from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Research rules and regulations for expansion into new areas.
• Keep up-to-date with any changes to rules and regulations in existing programs.
• Work with the member services team on day-to-day operations, including rate making, maintaining policyholder files, onboarding new insureds and providing important credentialing documentation to hospitals. 
• Collaborate with other team members and cross-functional teams to achieve department and company goals and objectives.
