Short Term Contract- Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Description:
Our client, a provider of commercial and personal lines insurance products, is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager for a short-term assignment. This remote position is open to candidates nationwide; however, a Massachusetts producer license is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to policyholders and carriers in a timely manner.
  • Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures.
  • Assist in marketing new and renewal business, determining premiums and preparing proposals.
  • Quote new and renewal business.
  • Process change requests, endorsements, cancellations, auto ID cards, issue binders and other related items.
  • Monitor policy expirations.
  • Assist clients with renewal process, reviewing policies for accuracy in coverage.
  • Maintain client files accurately, documenting conversations and sending confirmations to clients.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a personal lines account manager
  • In-depth knowledge of home, dwelling, flood, condo, auto, umbrella and occasional surplus lines builders risk policy
  • Experience using a personal lines rater/quoting system
  • Quoting experience with carriers including Travelers, Safety, Plymouth Rock, MAPFRE, Progressive and Arbella (preferred)
  • Active property and casualty producer license Massachusetts
  • 2+ years of experience using Applied Epic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively

Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $27-$28 per hour.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
