State Filing Representative

Job Description:
A property and casualty company is looking for a State Filing Representative to be responsible for rate, rule and form filings with all relevant insurance departments and bureaus. More specifically, this professional will prepare and develop filings with various state insurance departments, handle responses to objections by communicating with insurance departments, collaborate with various internal departments to create a final filing product and address compliance matters, and answer inquiries directed toward the department. This opportunity is direct hire.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recent experience working with state filings and/or regulatory compliance at an admitted property and casualty insurance carrier
  • SERFF experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to commute into an office 3 days per week
