Job Description:
A property and casualty client is looking for an Underwriting Assistant to evaluate risk. This professional will perform independent verifications, review and process change requests, evaluate in-force policies at renewal, and develop relationships with agencies. Additionally, the assistant will participate in underwriting training for new products, directives and processes. This opportunity is direct hire.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience working in commercial insurance
  • Investigative skills
  • Ability to use the internet for research
  • Ability to commute into the office 3 days per week
