Job Description: A property and casualty company is looking for a State Filing Manager to be responsible for the direct management and oversight of a team working on the day-to-day activities related to rate, rule and form filings with all relevant state insurance departments and bureaus, as well as subsequent implementation in the client’s proprietary systems. This professional will track industry changes and monitor regulatory issues for compliance. This opportunity is direct hire.
Requirements:
5+ years of insurance experience
Leadership experience
5+ years of personal and commercial insurance experience
Compliance and/or state filings experience from an admitted property and casualty insurance carrier
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
Attention to detail
Strong math skills
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willing to commute into the office 3 days per week
