Agency Billing Supervisor

Job Description:
A reputable organization is seeking an Agency Billing Supervisor to oversee agency bill and direct bill processes in a remote setting. This role involves ensuring accuracy in billing operations, meeting performance metrics and researching complex issues. The supervisor will manage the workflow of two to three team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and escalating issues when necessary. This is a remote temporary role and does not include personnel management responsibilities related to time off, compensation or goal setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of agency bill and direct bill processes.
- Ensure key performance metrics are met consistently.
- Conduct research and resolve complex billing issues effectively.
- Manage workflow of two to three team members and monitor task completion.
- Escalate issues to appropriate leadership when necessary.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of accounting experience within the property and casualty insurance industry on the agency side
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in an accounting role on the property and casualty agency side
- Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting
- Understanding of agency bill and direct bill workflows
- Proficiency with AMS360 and core billing functions, including reconciliation and reporting (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to coach and provide feedback to team members
- Comfort with frequent virtual communication and engagement in a remote environment
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $40.00 per hour.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions and internal equity.
