Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant

Job Description:
A property and casualty company is looking for a Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant to provide technical underwriting support for highly complex assigned accounts. This underwriting assistant will collect and reconcile new and renewal submission information to prepare policy and account files for underwriter review, as well as review and analyze account information for necessary underwriting data. Additionally, this role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and inputing financial and statistical information into the appropriate system to provide timely and accurate quotes. This opportunity is anticipated to be 6+ months in duration and located Warren, N.J.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working as a commercial lines underwriting analyst or underwriting assistant handling medium to large accounts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Local to Warren, N.J., and willing to commute into the office 3 days a week
