Claims Administrator

Job Description:
A leading organization in the insurance industry is seeking a Claims Administrator to join their remote team. The company provides comprehensive claims support services and is committed to operational excellence and technological advancement. This role involves managing a variety of claims administration activities, supporting claims processes, and ensuring accurate documentation and data entry within the company's claims management system. This position offers an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented individuals with strong administrative skills and a keen interest in the insurance claims process to build a career in claims operations and potentially advance into more specialized roles.
Responsibilities:
- Open and maintain claims within the claims management system to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Enter, update and verify claims information to uphold record accuracy.
- Generate claims-related documents and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
- Respond to internal requests for policy production and documentation needs.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining claims files and supporting documentation for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
- Prepare and maintain administrative and claims tracking reports to support the claims team’s operational needs.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness and consistency, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Develop a working understanding of the claims process, including relevant regulatory and administrative requirements.
- Support administrative activities related to casualty claims and other lines of business as directed.
- Utilize claims management software, including Five Sigma, and leverage AI tools to improve efficiency.
- Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with company procedures and policies.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar office productivity software
- Prior experience in insurance, claims administration or related fields (preferred)
- Knowledge of claims management systems like Five Sigma (preferred)
- Experience with AI tools and emerging technologies, such as Claude (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, technology and processes

Salary Range:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 annually. We understand salary is an important factor in a job search and we encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
