Job Description:
A remote opportunity is available for a General Liability Adjuster with a focus on handling commercial general liability claims. This role involves managing cases such as slip and fall, trip and fall, and construction defect claims (bodily injury, product and premises liability). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in general liability claims, working directly with insurance carriers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and adjust commercial general liability claims, including slip and fall, trip and fall, and construction defect cases.
• Investigate claims thoroughly to determine coverage, liability and settlements.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, vendors and external stakeholders throughout the claims process.
• Document all claim activity and decisions accurately within claims systems.
• Negotiate settlements and work towards timely resolution of each case.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and efficient processing of claims.
• Keep current with industry standards, state regulations and company policies related to claims handling.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of general liability claims experience, including slip and fall, trip and fall, and construction defect claims working with a carrier
• Active adjuster license in the candidate's state of residence or a designated home state license if applicable
• Proficient in claims systems and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Proven success in independent decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation
• No recent job hopping and stable employment history

Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00 per hour. We understand salary is an important factor in a job search, and we encourage candidates to apply even if they feel that their desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
