Job Description:
A leading insurance organization is seeking a dedicated Insurance Representative for an in-office role. This position involves handling inbound calls related to auto and home insurance quotes, providing exceptional customer service, and managing overflow calls when other agents are busy. The role requires returning missed inquiries from weekends or after-hours, as well as addressing basic customer questions based on training. The successful candidate will report Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm, located at our office in Georgia. This role is temporary with a potential to transition to permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls related to auto and home insurance quotes with professionalism and accuracy.
• Assist customers by answering questions and providing information based on training.
• Manage overflow calls when other agents are busy, ensuring all customer inquiries are addressed promptly.
• Return missed calls received during weekends or after-hours.
• Maintain a high level of punctuality, dependability, and availability to meet daily operational demands.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of personal lines auto and home experience in a customer service environment with independent agencies
• 1+ year of experience working with major carriers
• Active producer Georgia license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Exceptional customer service and administrative skills
• Punctuality and reliability
• Any experience working with employee benefits (highly preferred)

Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 per hour. We understand salary is an important factor in a job search and encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
