Job Description:
A financial services organization specializing in insurance solutions is seeking an Interim Treasury Manager to oversee and stabilize treasury operations during a transitional period. The role involves managing cash receipts, billing and collections support, as well as accounts payable and receivable processes. The selected candidate will lead a small team, implement enhanced controls, procedures, reconciliations and ensure process integrity. The Treasury Manager will also collaborate across departments, including IT, to support a system migration to DuckCreek and maintain high service levels, particularly in collections and cash management activities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support treasury operations including cash receipts, billing/collections and AP/AR workflows.

• Manage a team of approximately 5 members across various disciplines such as billing, cash receipts and accounts payable.

• Develop, implement and refine processes, controls and reconciliation routines to ensure accurate and timely tie-outs.

• Partner with IT and other departments to facilitate seamless system migration to DuckCreek from legacy platforms.

• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships by delivering excellent internal and external service, especially in collections.

• Support banking relationships and handle cash management activities effectively.

• Address escalated issues and resolve “stuck” items promptly to ensure operational continuity.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of P&C treasury leadership experience with active involvement in cash receipts, controls and reconciliation processes

• Proven people management skills with experience supervising 5 or more team members

• Demonstrated ability to rebuild or modify processes swiftly in transition environments

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on collections and stakeholder management

• Experience with DuckCreek Billing (highly preferred)

• Exposure to legacy-to-new system transitions, especially billing and finance platforms (preferred)

• Excellent communication, active listening, adaptability, conflict resolution, delegation and decision-making abilities

• Exposure to Yellow Book reporting and MD&A writing for state examiners (preferred)

Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00 per hour. We understand salary is an important factor in a job search, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
