Job Description:

Our client is an established insurance agency in the Salt Lake City area. The Account Manager will assume full responsibility for servicing, retaining and growing the book of business. This professional will provide direction to account reps, CSRs and trainees as necessary and work at the direction of the business architect(s) and team lead. This individual must be located in the western region of the United States and be able to travel for quarterly visits to the Salt Lake City office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain rapport with business architects, clients and insurance company underwriters
  • Provide consistent support and constructive feedback to business architects, carriers and management on a regular basis in an effort to promote efficient and error-free service to our customers
  • Communicate repeated errors by carriers or other personnel to team lead
  • Perform problem solving and handle all client telephone calls and in-person client services needed; process changes, quotes, etc., as requested, with the client’s best interest in mind and involves business architect and/or team lead when necessary
  • Assist team lead with cleanup of data in AMS, such as global change of policy personnel, commission structure, active/inactive clients, prospects/customers, notations, activity types
  • Research and analyze data, contributing to the development and enhancements of client’s insurance program and recommended coverage

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial lines account management experience
  • Experience managing commercial lines book of business
  • Active insurance designation; CIC, CISR, etc. (preferred)
  • Knowledge of AMS360 or similar system
